Discover Eyebrow Lamination: The Latest Beauty Trend

Brow Lamination

Eyebrow lamination is a growing trend that does not intend to stop anytime soon. Many see celebrities rocking beautiful, full eyebrows on the red carpet. Then, they see the same beautiful eyebrow shape weeks later while captured at the grocery store with no makeup. How do they do that day in and day out?

Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought, "I wish my eyebrows looked like Noah Cyrus or Cardi B!", "My eyebrows are too thin," or "I wish my eyebrows were fuller?" If so, then eyebrow lamination may be the perfect solution for you. This unique beauty process is growing in popularity and can give clients the fuller, thicker eyebrows they have always wanted. Nue Beauty, the premier eyebrow lamination studio in San Francisco, is here to help!

What is Eyebrow Lamination?

Eyebrow lamination, also known as a "brow lift," is a process

that uses unique solutions or lotions to set the eyebrows

into place. This non-surgical option is a "brow perm" process

similar to a lash lift. Instead of curling or creating waves in the

brow, the brow lamination process straightens the hairs. The

semi-permanent eyebrow lamination treatment shapes your

brows into a particular style.

The style allows clients to enjoy a brushed-up, smoothed-out,

glossy, and stylish look! This service means beauty clients

instantly reveal fuller and beautifully shaped natural brows

when leaving the salon. Clients achieve the natural eyebrow

shape seen in magazines or on the red carpet by working

with a professionally trained eyebrow lamination technician. Begin your eyebrow lamination and transformation with Nue Beauty today!

Eyebrow Lamination Process

A laminating solution is applied to the existing brow to start the eyebrow transformation process. This solution relaxes the hair follicles, making them easier to shape or manipulate in the desired direction. Next, a second solution or lotion is applied by the technician. They then comb or brush the eyebrows and align the hairs. This locks in your new look. The last step of the eyebrow laminating process is the application of a nourishing serum that helps hydrate the eyebrows.

Before starting the process, let Jennifer know if you have any skin conditions, including psoriasis or eczema. Also, if you've experienced sensitivity to certain chemicals in the past, have any eye conditions, or have sunburn.

The eyebrow lamination treatment is really quick, simple, and safe. There's no aftercare involved, and a common side effect is brows getting a bit dry. This dryness can be remedied by using a light moisturizer.

The process takes around 45 minutes, and the results last up to two months, depending on how quickly your brows grow back. This treatment is perfect for busy people who want their eyebrows done quickly and without any fuss.

A Sleek and Clean Look

Eyebrow lamination helps tame unruly hairs to create a sleek finish. An experienced technician may also suggest adding tint to enhance the results. Tinting gives the appearance of a more vibrant color eyebrow, making them look fuller and/or darker. With the ability to customize each color, Jennifer achieves the client's preferred look.

Traditionally, the eyebrow laminating process will last about 6-8 weeks, but the length, density, and quality of brow hairs can factor into the longevity of the results. The natural brow hair growth cycle is around 90 days, so clients also need to consider that aspect.

Who is the Ideal Candidate for Eyebrow Lamination?

Anyone looking to enhance their eyebrows can benefit from lamination. This process works best on clients with medium-length brows and thicker hair strands, but those with shorter or longer hairs can benefit as well.

No matter if you have sparse, thin, unruly brows, eyebrow lamination can create a thicker and fuller look. Clients who have over-tweezed their eyebrows in the past can also benefit from this treatment as it helps reshape and realign the hairs.

The eyebrow lamination process could be just what you're looking for to achieve that natural and beautiful eyebrow look you've always wanted. Come into Nue Beauty and chat with Jennifer about how she can help you realize this dream!

There are a few cases where you should consult with your physician before scheduling eyebrow lamination. This list includes, but is not limited to, psoriasis or eczema; those who have undergone recent eye surgery; alopecia affecting the brow area; the recent application of permanent makeup or microblading (must be at least six weeks post-procedure); sunburned; extremely sensitive skin; taking blood thinners; suffering from conjunctivitis (better known as pink eye); pregnant/nursing, or taking prescription acne medications such as Accutane.

Benefits of Eyebrow Lamination

The primary benefit of eyebrow lamination is that it gives

individuals who have over-plucked their eyebrows or naturally

thin brows an opportunity to achieve fuller-looking brows

without having to undergo permanent treatments like tattoos

or microblading. The brow laminating process also allows

clients to experience a reshaped eyebrow. Jennifer can raise

the brow arch or lower the tail depending on the client's

desired look.

Eyebrow lamination is not a permanent process and is

non-invasive. This low-maintenance approach makes it an

excellent option for people who don't want to commit but

still want the look of fuller eyebrows. Since eyebrow

lamination does not involve invasive procedures, no downtime is required after your appointment—which means you can get right back to enjoying your beautiful new brows!

Additionally, this treatment only takes about 45 minutes from start to finish. It can last up to eight weeks, making it an ideal choice for those who want immediate results without making any long-term commitments! Clients don't need to worry about reshaping, brushing, or filling their eyebrows every morning or before a night out on the town.

See the Immediate Results You Crave

Eyebrow lamination has become a popular beauty service due to its ability to provide immediate results with minimal effort or risk involved. If you're looking for fuller-looking eyebrows without going through any permanent procedures, consider giving eyebrow lamination a try!

With this procedure, you can achieve natural-looking results that will last up to eight weeks—allowing you plenty of time for your upcoming social events and activities!

Eyebrow Lamination PRECARE:

  • The skin surrounding the eyebrows should be freshly cleaned and free of makeup, pressed powders, and moisturizers.

  • To see the best results, we recommend clients grow their eyebrow hairs and avoid threading, waxing, or plucking for up to 4 weeks before an eyebrow lamination treatment. Clients should also NOT trim eyebrow hairs for six weeks before treatment.

  • Clients should NOT apply medicated skin products such as Retinol, Retin-A, BHA/AHA, Differin gel, or exfoliate their face 72 hours before your appointment. These medications or processes may cause extreme sensitivity to the skin.

  • Do not apply self-tanning products for 48 hours before an eyebrow lamination treatment.

Eyebrow Lamination AFTERCARE:

  • Keep eyebrows dry for 24 hours following eyebrow lamination treatments.

  • Be sure to apply any post-care products Nue Beauty provides after your service.
